Warranty Repairs: If you have a product which meets the guidelines of the manufacture waranty, please call us to arrange the repair of your gear. You will need to bring us copies of your purchase reciept (with date) and we will have you fill out the manufacture waranty request paperwork. The factory authorized tech will detect the problem and fax the info to the manufacture. Foggy will then be notified with approval for repair or other solution. You will be notified of the result. Please realize that any specialized parts that the manufacture needs to supply will be sent and we cannot start repair until recieved. We will repair the gear in a timely fashion and you will be called when it is done for pickup. When you receive our call, we encourage you to pickup items as soon as possible. After all there is music to be made!
Items not under waranty: When bringing gear in for repair evaluation please realize the time spent dis-assembling, testing, and troubleshooting is part of the normal repair procedure. Should you decide not to do the repair, there will be a standard bench fee of $45.00. If the repair is made there is no extra charge as this work is part of the repair.
Please be sure to specify exactly what type of repair you want and feel free to ask for an estimate from the tech after evaluation. If you specify only one problem to be addressed, that is exactly what we will do. If you would like a full evaluation and/or restoration please specify. Electronic equipment can have intermittent problems which damage other components that test working, but fail sometime after your requested problem is fixed. Not common, but a well known ailment. If it does not involve the specified requested repair it could result in a separate repair. It is suggested you talk to the tech about possibilities due to the initial problem. It is cost effective to address these issues at initial repair. We all want to keep the cost of the repair down but not at the risk of another failure. It is our goal to get your gear in the best working order back to you as soon as possible at a fair price. We guarantee the work done on the requested repair.
We specialize in restoration. Feel free to call us to arrange an estimate!
